Title: Export and import settings
Post by: topcaser on December 26, 2014, 21:33:14
Hi,

I have to transfer my settings to another device. Unfortunately I did not find any setting to export the settings. Is it possible anyway?

Thanks for supporting.

Hi,

you mentioned a path which contains the word "backup". How can I perform a backup?

gynta, I searched all the menus, but did not found anything. And now you tell me, there is a backup manager. I have looked thousands of times to this menu but did not see that there is a backup manager. Thanks for helping me.

Quick question on this....
I have a Motorola phone and a superb quality 8" tablet.
Is it possible to do a full export/backup (including settings) from my phone and then import it into Locus on the tablet and will it use all the correct settings?  I don't see why not and so may try this as it would be great to have the phone and the tablet mirror the settings and tracks and POIs etc etc?

Did you tried "Backup manager" function? "Backup all" function should solve your problem

Thanks Menion,
I used the backup manager and it all worked perfectly to put all my settings and routes from my phone onto my tablet.
Genius you are!
