Title: Velo Computer
Post by: berkley on April 10, 2014, 07:19:02
Hi Bikers,

What do you think about that product?
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/magnet-less-bicycle-sensor

I'm interested, especially for that price, but before supporting them, I'd like to get some opinions.
Also @Menion, will this work with Locus?

Cheers, berkley

Thought there were at least a few bikers in here ;)

I'm not really a biker (in my youth, I was :-D ), but I think GPS is enough for most recordings. Aditional bluetooth power consumption should have a real benefit. I suppose acceleration or measurements of distances like centimeters is not very important to most of the bikers.

I like cycling too, but I am satisfied with my cheap cyclocomputer. It is only measures speed, distance, average, time, really simple. I do not plan to buy a new one now.
