Hello,
gcFieldnotes.txt in locus matches geocache_visits.txt on garmin devices for logging geocaches offline.
Would it be meaningful to implement something like gcFieldnotes.xml in locus with matches geocache_logs.xml on garmin devices as discussed here (http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=23708&st=3)?
Maybe this could be the final solution to overcome the timezone problem when logging a geocache?
gcFieldnotes.xml should be an addition to the already existing gcFieldnotes.txt. Or, even better, the user should decide, which fileformat he would use for logging a geocache offline.
Unfortunately groundspeak do not support geocache_logs.xml for logging their caches so far as I know. But GSAK, my favorite tool for logging geocaches, do ;).

Hello,
why not. I really need to rewrite system for logging a caches. Plan is to remove "gcFieldNotes.txt" file and store logs in database. And on request generate required files or send data directly to web. So it won't be a problem to generate different formats
Anyway may you please post it here http://help.locusmap.eu/ ? Maybe there will be big interest so I'll start work on it sooner or at least I find it when time for rewrite comes ... thanks

If there is a rewrite in geocaching can you please consider adding support for the Hungarian geocaching.hu site? I can help if there are language barriers. I know that Hungarians may not be the greatest market out there, but it would be more than awesome. I'll post it to help site nevertheless.
@menion: Thanks for information. Post it also at http://help.locusmap.eu/
perfect, thanks
It is so wonderful that I've been searching for information for a long time.
