Hi,
I know there's a "Hide all" function from the Data menu item, but how do you reset the initial state of the map, that is removing all tracks and routes loaded into map? When I draw a new route, it just adds to the map in addition to the other routes already drawn or loaded. After a while my map is complete chaos. 8)

There are two possibilities
please open Menu > Data > Ponts / Track
1. Tap on the icon of folder to hide or show all track/points in particular folder

2. Tap on the name of folder and then uncheck or check track or points.
Even if no tracks or points are selected, map still contains items.

Thanks, that worked! Following the steps in the video I had to do hide for 4 different lists of "Selected items". Could it be done by one single operation?

Well, how about this:
* go in the track menu
* select menu item (three dots) at the top
* choose "deselect all"
This will remove all tracks from the map, in two clicks only

Ok, but the topic starter wrote "..removing all tracks and routes loaded into map.." and I took it that "loaded .." means "selected".
And what about the other option: in the map screen do a long press on the track symbol and pick the second option "Remove all temp map items". ??

* selected items (points and/or tracks)
* temp items (points or recorded tracks or tracks or whatever)
so I do not know what to vote for :)

ah these temporary navigation tracks are special cases. They are stored in database, but in invisible folder, so "Hide temp map item" has no effect on it. I'm taking it as a bug. In next version, "HIde temp items" hide also these tracks ...
