I am considering buying a Jolla phone, which runs SailfishOS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sailfish_OS
For quick information: it is not an Android phone, but it runs its own "Dalvik Machine" implementation ( https://sailfishos.org/about-technology.html ) and is able to run most of the Android software. Sometimes with glitches, sometimes without, and sometimes not able to run at all.
I wonder if you, Menion, or anyone else tried to run Locus on Jolla phone. I must say running Locus is critical for my phone usage :D so any information would be highly appreciated.
For such a critical decision I would select the original one!

If it is critical then I would go for the safe option and choose Android. There are so many devices to choose from. It is better not to mess with the core of the system.
I'll be also interested in any results if anyone will have this OS.
Anyway just my expectation - I don't give Locus big chance to run correctly. I have part of code in native (c++) code, Locus also use almost every possible hardware sensor devices has and generally - use quite of lot of possibilities that device may offer. So there is a big chance, it won't work correctly
SailfisOS runs some really complex apps like Facebook easily, I guess it more depends on API version, usage of unofficial ,,tricks" etc.
Here, if I am not mistaken is a quick comment (in Finnish!) that Locus works perfectly:

trust me, Facebook app is "simple" compare to Locus (I think in a way, how much features of device app use, not how good/bad is written) and mainly use much less of device power. Anyway if Locus will run fine, it should be nice. Anyway from my point of view, it's a risky :) Just opinion ...
