Title: KMZ file and his Layers
Post by: bedee on January 08, 2014, 08:45:48
Hello All,

I have imported (mapsitems) an KMZ file (52Mb) in Locus. I made this file on my desktop.
I can see now all the different maps, but some maps are overlapping other maps.

Is it possible (as on desktop Google earth) to choose the layer you want to see. This is already possible with tracks but not with the different layers.

I have different (old) maps covering a specific area (Topo and aerial)

Hope somebody can help me with this.

The only way I know would be to split the map items in different kml/kmz files. Then you can switch on or off different map items.

Agree with KaHeMu, there is currently no "KML/KMZ data manager" with ability to order, hide, select layers within one file, so it's needed to have every map in separate file

That was already my idea, but thanks anyway......maybe something for one of the next updates.

Case closed.....
