I installed free vector World map. But how do I activate it?
I have read http://forum.locusmap.eu/index.php?topic=3164.msg25275#msg25275 but it did not help.
I use offline (downloaded) map with levels 10-18. I try to zoom it out, but nothing happens, it just returns to level 10 and shows full downloaded area of the map surrounded by emptiness. What do I do wrong?
Do you have a Locus/mapsVector/_world directory?
next to jusc suggestion, world map is automatically used only for a vector maps, not for some personal or online maps

So, if I don't have any else vector map, I can not activate World map?
Yes, you should have a vector map and use this vector map to zoom out.
If you want to try it, you can load a small country from openandromaps.org. Load map and center it, than zoom out.
Maybe another solutions:
- copy file world.map to different folder eq. Locus/mapsVector/MyWorld
- use special theme for this map (in attachment)
On the other hand you lost the hypsometry information
In case any one copies the path directly, it should be Locus/mapsVector/MyWorld
