- another tweaks like: better selection of points in "Points screen", "Clear cache" button in settings, separated settings for speed, altitude and length units, many small improvements on track recording (top panel info, notification info), added NearMap (Australia), ... and bunch of fixs!
7.3.2011 - Locus 0.9.26.4- fixed crash after map download
- next big improvements to track record. now more battery efficient, also you can continue when app crash or battery is out or whatever ...
- improved a little satellite screen
- fixed some importing problems and also increased importing speed ;)
- another fix to MGRS coordinate system

- fixed problem with AR plugin on A2.1. hope ... so?
- rapidly rewrote big part of AR, new design. Count that plus/minus buttons not work! ;)

- completely rewrote track recording part.
- new info button on track recording panel, that show actual track recording starts (without refresh, just in time of press) ... hmm?

4.3.2011 - Locus 0.9.26.1, Contacts 1.1.1, AR 0.0.1So, this is bigger update. A discovered possibility to add some permission request into own library. This is reason for new contact addon version. Otherwise there is no need to update this addon, or anyone have any "Contact" request? When you install this addon and then Locus itself, you should now see permission request also on this addon. Same is with Augmented reality addon. I want to prevent of usage by another 3rd party app without you knowing.
And please. I know about any problems on Galaxy TAB and Track recording which I want fix. But when you discover any other, create new topic in Troubles section and help me fix this. Thanks

3.3.2011 - Locus 0.9.25- new version released on market, testing version with My Maps and AR (maybe) come tomorrow... (if you install app from market and you used previously testing version and have My Maps or AR button on right panel, crash is not a bug in app, just missing permissions. Wait for next testing version)
hmm, I noticed some negative ratings on market but after almost hour of testing I cannot find any problem. Maybe it's any bug on A1.6? Did anyone have any starting issue? Please send me log from logcat Locus/logs directory (if contain any)! Thanks guys ...

about translation, Locus is already in Czech, English, Korean. Slovak users unfortunately see Locus in English. one guy is already trying to translate into slovak, but it will take a time. if you know anyone who would sacrifice some time to slovak translate, it's welcome

do you have phone in czech? App have no internal mechanism to switch languages. It set automatically language by your system.

hm interesting, I noticed troubles with running AR on 2.1A and lower and also some troubles with azimuth of camera, so wait for new version please, I have to fix AR addon a little :)

Today i flashed a new ROM, installed locus again et voilà :)
AR funguje bezvadne a rychle i na mem stroji, jen bych uvital zmenu posuvniku vyberu na nejake logaritmicke meritko, aby se daly lepe vybrat pouze body v bezprostrednim okoli ve chvili, kdyz jich tam je moc....
Omlouvam se, ze neudrzuji topic v anglictine, ale tu zvladam jen pasivne a vetsinou se sem pripojuji ve vlaku...

I'm still having this white screen from time to time, but it is only when I close app and then start it again in few seconds... If I leave it off for longer and then start it - it is OK. Any idea? Not a really problem, just annoyong sometimes. thx
I noticed you added the ability to show your current positon in MGRS now. But there is one bug. The grid is wrong and the numerical part is only 8 digits long ??
some of the numerical grid locations are coming up in 10 digits, some 9 digits, but most are 8 digits. but the first part of the grid, its showing my zone identifier as 38SMB but it is supposed to be 38SMF, there is a huge difference and about 200 miles between the two.
count of numbers is probably because there is no space for more numbers right? I separate MGRS number into two lines. May you send me coordinates in WGS and converted into MGRS which have this problem?
Here is a converted grid location for you.. both are the same location and both are correct locations. in Locus the readings are different though.
WGS format N 36.20312 E 043.99135
MGRS format 38SMF 09325 06949
in Locus the MGRS locaton for that position is 38SMB 9324 6948
there is plenty of room for more numbers, and no its not splitting the MGRS location into two lines.
it seems to me that it is having a problem displaying the first numerical number if it is a (0) anything greater than a zero will show up.
so for instance a fake numerical grid like this in its correct form 38SMF0123404321 in Locus it will display it as 38SMF12344321
but this is where it can get very confusing, take a correct fake location like this it 38SMF 1234505433 in locus it will look like this 38SMF123455433 it messes you up because you dont know if the 0 goes infront of the first set of 5 numbers or the 2nd set. BUT the biggest issue is getting the correct zone identifier for the grid, my location is 38SMF and locus shows it as 38SMB

Here, the people that have some issue or want to help, can place any data needed for debug. What you think. Of cource people that don't have dropbox account, can create one with this link http://db.tt/0k2Hrde (http://db.tt/0k2Hrde) which give me 250MB bonus :). So what you think? will this be easier for you to test new versions or send me some data to test?
About importing gpx files directly from Geocaching... I'm surprised on how quick it is in this version. Few minutes to import each 1000 cache file.
My question is: How does the system handle Caches with same name? The option to overwrite is not clear: If I overwrite I'm losing the old. If I don't overwrite I'm losing the new? It seems is should keep both.

The filtering option in Geocaching points is not working. Now it's presenting a list of numbers.
White screen problem is gone for me after .926 version. Big thx !
