Recently done some hikes (and geocaching) at night, using night mode. That's just great!
An issue I ran into is that other screens, e.g. POI or change maps, are not inverted, so when selecting any of those I suddenly have a very bright white screen shining at me. Can this be changed, by making them white on black like the settings page? That'd be great.

I'm worried this task much beyond usage. It's really complicated to correctly set inverse layout for all screens and layouts. So sorry, but this will for sure not be completed.
What I may suggest is to check Google play for some "Screen filter" application, that may change color of visible screens. Maybe this will help you
"Screen filter" is my favourit.
