Title: Orientation incorrect on Galaxy S
Post by: magiva on February 28, 2011, 15:09:59
I was travelling on the A1M going from Leeds to Darlington in the UK  (middle of UK going North)
I though id check the compass orientation as i thought it was wrong.
I started to record a track, put the phone flat, top towards front of car and away from magnets and the arrow pointed behind me (towards the bottom of the phone).

Checking the compass with other programs suggests the compass is correct so i can only think that Locus is wrong.

Hi,

I've got a Galaxy S too and everything works the way it should work. Four questions:
- Which ROM are you running?
- Did you do the magnetic field calibration?
- Are you sure, there is no magnetic influence?
- Do you look on your phone while driving? :P
