Title: [INFO] - SGS2 for geocacher and slowmover
Post by: balloni55 on July 20, 2012, 20:53:49
Hi,
i have had a problem for long hours :roll:
if i select a POI/geocache to navigate to, first time distance and direction was diplayed well.
Near the target i slow down my speed and suddenly the displayed values freece. :(
Moving arround in slow speed the values dosn´t change, so it wasn´t possible to find the Geocache :oops:
Searching in the i-net i found the reason static navigation
//http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20667092&postcount=10
and the free APP
//https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fatdroid.android.gpscontrols2ad&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5mYXRkcm9pZC5hbmRyb2lkLmdwc2NvbnRyb2xzMmFkIl0.

Thanks a lot for this info!
It has bothered me a few times when I needed more precise location for a cache,  will surely test this soon. :-)

As Locus is quite a complex app, I guess I was not the only one looking a bit helpless at the start. So I went around to google for information, and found some with I'm sure will prove helpful for other new users as well -- so I thought I'd share them here:
