Title: Live Tracking send point on stop
Post by: durian on July 10, 2012, 11:01:19
I was wondering if the Live Tracking function could send the last point when pressing stop. That way, the "end destination" will be send when closing the function and using a large time gap (like ten minutes).

agree ... in next version will be also possibility to set "minimum distance" parameter.

So I added feature, that when you end Live Tracking, it check if distance between last sent point and current is bigger then this distance, and if so, it send also this last point (no matter how big is "minimum time").

Great!

About the minimum distance - I have just implemented this in my PHP backend :-) but in Locus is better, that way less data-traffic is generated!

I agree. It's mainly on Gynta request so you may thanks to him :), anyway as you told, it reduce number of internet accesses and it's much better then simply filter this on server ...

Was the "last point on stop" also implemented? In that case, it does not seem to work :-)
