Hi menion,
since some versions (at least v2.3.4 and v2.5) I get the following error:
My tracks with this error are form 2-6 hours so there must be enough points.
Online calculation runs without error.
In locus/data/srtm I have the following files:
N47E011.hgt
N47E012.hgt
WW15MGH.DAC
I had never problems before the latest versions.
there is probably not much to do. You may send me your track you want to fill but result is quite obvious. Track goes over place where are some holes in altitude files. I'm currently using raw data from NASA that have these holes. Anyway we're currently work on new altitude data files that will be filled so it will cover whole world without holes. I hope it will be ready since August. So, check also other tracks if you can and in case it happen just here, there is for sure problem in data files for now ...

I tested 10 tracks, some display this message, most of them are good.
My tracks are always in the same area between Rosenheim/Oberbayern and Kufstein and Wörgel in Tirol.
What does "At 5 points can not be properly calculated altitude" exactly mean?
1. because there are only 5 points recorded or
2. these 5 points are missing in the NASA data file and all other could be calculated or
3. something other.
The german text (in the attached hardcopy) should be corrected: berrechnet -> berechnet.
If point 2 above is right then "Mit 5 Punkten" should also changed to "Bei 5 Punkten...".

"Bei"? I would recommend "An" or "Für".

2. is correct. All points except five was calculated correctly
