Title: Problem with NAVIGATION
Post by: go4java on June 02, 2012, 22:20:08
Hi,
the functionality of Locus Pro seems to be enormous, the settings menu full of sub-settings - some of them I do not even understand...
However, I've been able to add free cyclo maps (*.map) to the vector maps directory and I'm able to address these new maps.
Now that I try to start a simple NAVIGATION from/to the problem starts: The route will be calculated and shown on the map, but there is no graphical guidance (arrows) and also no voice guidance - even it has been activated.
Is there a "hidden" setting that needs to be activated?

Thanks.
As per my screengrabs taken from the "148m" message - https://www.wuala.com/go4java/PUBLIC/LO ... O4ctJvkOPj (https://www.wuala.com/go4java/PUBLIC/LOCUS/?key=NfO4ctJvkOPj) - it looks as if someone locates "in the middle of nowhere" (but known roads/tracks have a distance between 50 and 100m only!), LOCUS PRO cannot navigate to the closest fix point. A solution could be to give distance and azimuth as well as an audio help such as "Move 150m east and find street/POI... - whatever...".
BTW, my setting is Text to Speach TTS.
