Title: Panoramio / google maps pictures as an overlay
Post by: Axel on May 31, 2012, 14:54:49
Hi,
is it possible to add panoramio pictures or google earth pictures layer as a new layer/overlay?
It can be very useful to see, what interesting is around me.
Panoramio offers an kml file/API for showing all or my own pictures and there are some apps on market showing pictures on the map also. But integration with Locus maps would be the best solution. I dont need to see thumbnails directly on map. Clickable symbol of the point would be enough.

Some idea, how to do it?

similar idea https://getsatisfaction.com/locus/topic ... ion_layers (https://getsatisfaction.com/locus/topics/addition_of_information_layers)

not exactly same, but rather less (better described) ideas then a lot of with small amount of votes :)
