Title: Use of PNG+MAP maps in Locus
Post by: IceWalker on May 18, 2012, 12:04:21
Hello everybody!

Could anyone kindly tell me how to use a bulk of .PNG maps together with .MAP files in Locus?
Should I merge them anyhow and then convert or there is a possibility to use them as separate files?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

google for sw MAPC2MAPC.
It's able to convert PNG + MAP to RMaps used by Locus.

I have version 489 of Mapc2mapc (licence) and I do not convert the *. map and *. Png, there is no option "save rmap".

Thanks,
But it is the same as those of CompeGPS, because I tried to create a map with MAPC2MAPC "RMAP", and I could open it with the software CompeGPSLand without any problems. And yet my cards in CompeGPSLand "RMAP" (not RTMAP) does not open with Locus ....
It can also convert directly with Oruxmap MAPC2MAPC.
