Title: Distance between two Points
Post by: JuWo on December 09, 2011, 22:28:53
Hi there,

is there a possibility to get the distance between two random points on the map?
(e.g. tap on junction 1; tap on junction 2 and Locus shows 675m)

Thank You
JuWo

no directly but you can use function called "Add new route". Run it, and then tap on first point and in popup tap on first + button. same for second point and on screen, you'll see distance

Well, you can also mark a waypoint (long click on screen, then click on the bubble) and start "Guide on".
Then turn GPS off, and move the map center to the second point. Locus will show the distance while you move the map center (if you have enabled it). If you choose "Guiding" for the top menu, you can see the distance and bearing from map center to the waypoint.

This is what I personally do.

Both methods work quite well. The first functions has the advantage that the GPS need not to be deactivated.
The second one is easier to use. I will try them out...

Thank You very much for You help...  :D
