Title: Altitude in POIs
Post by: gynta on November 12, 2011, 19:56:09
I add some hills and mountains as POIs and pick also the altitude button.
The POIs have wrong altitudeinformations now.
In the Settings i found a adjustment for altitude - but it doesnt work.
Corrects this only the GPS signal?

hi,
when you run "New altitude" button on "edit point" screen or if you fill altitudes for poi's, it fill data from google database and values are stored for point as a "real" altitude. When you store point during enabled GPS, altitude is taken from GPS and this is not "real" value. So "Adjust altitude" settings is applied only on GPS data, no more. And to be true, difference 9m is quite good!

k thx

btw:
There is an default entry, called "Point"
Plz set this to "".
Reason: It's annoying to delete this word befor i can label my POI
(And an empty box is already checked prior to leaving.)
