Hi,
last two weekends Locus crashed when I was recording.
When I startet Locus again recording was still enabled.
I had to be very fast to stop recording. Otherwise it crashed again.
Unfortunately I can not tell when this was exactly. I don't think I was
doing something special before it crashed. It was not crashing instantly,
but after several minutes.
I have 400MB of free space on SD-Card. So writing data shouldn't be the problem.
Now, when I start Locus it sometimes crashes without recording.
Phone is Motoroly Defy with Android 2.2
Last weekend Locus was 1.12 I think, now it is 1.13.1

Hi Thomas,
did you use external bluetooth GPS service while recording?
Before that crashes happens again, make sure, you have CatLogReader installed: https://market.android.com/details?id=c ... son.logcat (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.nolanlawson.logcat)
So, if that crash happens again, send the *.txt to locus (at) asamm (dot) cz
Hope this helps.
Cheers, berkley
Hi,
no, I used built in GPS.
Just installed CatLog. We'll see...
Thank you, Thomas
Is the track written on SD card as it records, or does it record to the internal memory and just written on the SD card when you press stop?
track is written to SD card once per 10 stored locations, so if you're recording every second, it will be stored 6 times per minute
Locus crashed several times again. Often, but not only when recording. I think I started CatLog too late. I could not see anything of Locus in the log file. When it crashed I had the option to send a report. Did you get that?
I'm having a similar issue. After an update during the last couple of weeks Locus has began crashing with a NullPointerException while recording a track. If I restart Locus and hit the stop recording button quickly I'm able to save the recorded track otherwise it's gone. I have managed to reproduce a crash with CatLog running and I will mail you the recorded log. To reproduce the crash I started Locus, started a track recording and then rotated the phone randomly around all 3 axis. After rotating a while Locus crashed with a NullPointerException. I'm using the latest pro version 1.13.2.
thanks Iml, I have noticed same problem during my current small trip so I think, it will be fixed in next version
Hi,
I sent you some logs to
locus@asamm.czHope they are useful.
I also have the problem that tiles are not always drawn.

First test with the new version was positive. Thank you :-)
It works for me too! Thanks!
