Title: battery drains while connected via USB to PC
Post by: jusc on August 29, 2011, 12:19:14
I forgot to close Locus, in particular the compass view and connected the S II via USB to my PC. After 1 hour the battery lost capacity from 60% to 27% and the S II became warmer. After closing Locus and Wifi altough not needed, the S II becomes colder and battery is charging. I´m not sure if the battery drains because of Locus or wifi, but Is it possible to to get a signal, to close Locus in this case or close Locus automaticly?

and how can I determine that it's right time to close Locus automatically? Anyway Locus on background without any active function should be almost sleeping and surely not consuming battery. more then 30% per hours? It's really very weird. How should I simulate this? Just show compass screen and hide Locus with home button? Do you have in GPS screen enabled "compass button"?

GPS was off, but I used the vector within Locus on internal SDcard and in foreground was the compass screen. Perhaps it was, because Locus and PC would use the internal SD-Card as Drive in the same time?
