yesterday I was on a hike and my map center was at the bottom and the zoom changing on its own. For years my center was in die middle and the zoom never changed on it's own.
Surely I have to change some display setting to sort this out. I looked through the Maps section and the Navigation settings, because it felt like I was in some kind of car satnav mode. Couldn't find anything on the hike and continued on.
Today I go through all the setting and find the two option in Controlling. I find this confusing, because it is not the way I control the app, but how the data is displayed. That's why I first expected them in the Maps section.
That said, I did reset the settings at some point, but restored them from an auto-backup. Obviously it didn't restore these two settings, because I didn't change them myself.
