For the past six months, I have been experiencing issues backing up to Dropbox (a feature that previously worked perfectly). Due to various circumstances, I haven't used Locus much recently, though I did perform manual backups during that time. Now that a new version 4.36 has been released, I hoped the Dropbox backup function would start working again. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case; an "Oops" message appeared (see attachment). Is there a solution?(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20260919/81ae5147980c66f748a7589d47019bd8.jpg)
Hi,
nasty-looking error, sorry. Please try to log out (three-dot top menu) and log in again. Does it help?
Unfortunately, logging out and logging back in did not help. The same error message appears.
Hi Arnor,
interesting. I'm unable to simulate this problem. What happens when you re-login? Do you see a Dropbox screen that requests a login or does it return immediately to the Locus Map app?
Hi Menion
After logging back in, I end up on the screen shown here (name, photo, and email obscured).(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20260926/690bdf118cac68d08d49d9dddaf77424.jpg)
We probably talk about the different re-logins. The first screenshot in the initial post was a screen with the "Dropbox" page. Here, on this page, tap the three dots and choose Logout, and, later, "Login" button at the bottom that appears when you are logged out.
Hello Menion ,
Ah, indeed, a different login and .....it is working now. Thank you very much.
