Hello,
I learned, that mid of 2025 the search for POIs and addresses was changed to a new, common search.
With the old LoMap POI search, which is still available for old LoMaps (prior to june 2025?) I could easily search for POI categories around my current location (e.g. "where is the nearest bike repair site"), and show the first X results at the map.
If its unclear please see the attached screenshot from the search at an "old" map (in german, but I think the point is clear)
For new maps I don't see this possibility anymore. I can search for a POI's name, but not within a specific category.
Am I just missing the path to a similar function for new LoMaps, or did this feature (which I love and desperately miss) disappear?

Hello,
there are currently two options:
1. you may use our "common" search and find a category. Tap on it, opens the search above the map with the list of nearest points of this category.
2. you may also enable permanent highlighting of the category. Check this manual page here (https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:points:locus_maps_pois#highlighting_on_map).
