But where has the track gallery gone?
Images are no longer displayed and the "show Media" option under Settings > Points and Tracks > Tracks no longer exists.

Some progress on geotaggedmedia, but still, no hierarchy, so I cannot easily show (eye symbol) e.g. 50 folders out of the listed 200.
No more Track Gallery in V 4.31
I'm really surprised that no one but me misses the Track Gallery (photos visible at recorded tracks).
This was introduced with beta version 4.30.1.3 (see here (https://forum.locusmap.eu/index.php?msg=79224)), discussed in the forum and improved several times. I think all beta users liked the Track Gallery.
Now it has disappeared without comment in the current release version. Is there a reason for this? Will it come in one of the next versions? I have now reinstalled beta 4.30.1.8 because I had got used to the Track Gallery and would like to keep it. But of course this is not a permanent solution.
I would like to receive an explanation. Thank you.

I had installed AFA version 4.31 and there was definitely no track gallery. At least not for me. I wrote about it right away. It wasn't mentioned in the list of news either.
After uninstalling and reinstalling the beta, it's back.

I tried again and reinstalled V 4.31.0 + Auto (AFA). As feared, still no track gallery. >:(
No photos are displayed for the tracks. No matter which directory, not even the one you mentioned. That's strange, because it worked fine in the last betas. The geotagged photos are displayed correctly on the map. But not for the recorded tracks.
Is the "show Media" option displayed under Settings > Points and Tracks? It is no longer available for me either.
Now I'm going to go to the trouble of uninstalling the new version and reinstalling Beta 4.30.1.8.
It would be nice if Menion could comment on this. Perhaps it is due to my device and my Android version. However, this is unlikely, as it worked correctly with all betas since the introduction of the track gallery.

new version 4.31.1 is just being published...
Few unfortunate changes that come...
1. gallery you miss > result of our internal discussions. Part of the team is worried, it will collide with the planned "Sync of attachments". So they should come, but later in a slightly different style.
2. new "Choose default action" in route planner profiles removed. Again, a lack of communication in the team and general worry about increasing complexity.
3. just removed Google Drive support ... completely. Google announced limitations of full access to the folder structure a long time ago. We missed this info, and since 1. 9. 2025 Locus Map seems to be blocked (if you are logged, it still works). Sorry. Solution exists only partially and is really complicated.
4. back press in the "Other POIs" search reverted. It was not possible to choose an active database file. We have to do it a little differently.
Hmm, not good news.
1. when do you estimate that "Sync of attachments" will come and then hopefully the Track Gallery again?
2. not a good idea to remove the setting. Can't you at least put it in the Expert Settings? I definitely want to be able to select "Continue with" as the default and not always have to click twice.
I'll stick with beta 4.30.1.8 for now, because I do not want any deterioration... ;)

Otherwise I'd have to rename and put 20k images into one folder and try to use date filtering.

Why can't you make it available for the time being as in the last betas and adapt it later (in "a slightly different style", as you wrote) when "Sync of attachments" is implemented one day? It's a shame and even annoying when a good new function is first introduced and then removed again.

Is there a way you can trigger the android media indexing? It's unfortunately not as transparent as the direct file access. You sometimes take pictures, but it takes a while until it appears eg in Locus, Google Photos etc...
I'm currently using the beta version and the track gallery is still there. I have the new version on my second phone for testing purposes and the track gallery is missing.
I took a lot of pictures on my vacation and they are in the track gallery. I don't want to lose them.
So I'll stick with the beta for now.
The Track Gallery will be added later. Will I still lose the pictures when I update?

I would say the latter.
The track gallery in the beta (which I will continue to use for now) is just a link to all the images that were taken during recording (regardless of geotagging).
I installed the beta and the new release version a few times (changing between both versions). Every time I reinstalled the beta, the track gallery with all corresponding images was back.
However, "later" seems to be more of a long-term prospect. Maybe sometime next year or even later, as Assamm is making it dependent on the introduction of attachment synchronisation. At least, that's how I understood it.
Sticking with the latest beta for that long probably doesn't make sense.
I don't need attachment synchronization at all. You could also operate it without synchronization for as long as you want.
If it's just a link, then older tracks should also have images. But there are only those that were made after the introduction. You could also link older ones based on the recording time.
For me, photos are also displayed in the track gallery for old tracks, provided I have them on the device.

Found POI by searching also show no categories.

Main issue is Android handling of local photos oos very broken...
i used to have my entire personal photo colelction on an sd card, and easy to remove and sync externally every so often
With phones losing sd cards, and all the file system issues, dealing with Androids "improvements" is a bit of a nightmare.
I made a helpdesk post this week, with the new geotagged layer you can no longer create a poi from geotagged photo...
I vote for a completely new look at locus and photo integration, with photo being able to be imported in to photo point POI, and fully synced to locus web ( and also bilk downloadable, like google takeout)
But a lot of people dont want to keep geotagged photos in one pplace, and personal photos in anotehr, which you could do with old system. I suggested a while back google photos integration, but it looks not easilt done, dropbox integration is easier, ie the actual photo lives on another cloud, and just the thumbnail is attached to the POI

firstly, yesterday evening, a new 4.31.2 version was released on Google Play.
It brings two important changes: firstly, it solves a critical issue in restoring backups (sorry for this).
Second positive change is improved handling of map labels in vector maps, which should reduce crashes and improve performance in low zoom levels! Hope this won't have any side-effects, because there was not enough time to test it (because of the backup problem) ;D .

@Graf Geo, photos are not attached to the tracks. App really only grabs photos <from - to> time interval available in the system and displays them. So removed functionality does not mean removed photos. No worry about it.

@Neoaliphant we have also felt there is something bad with the system gallery. We were pushed to remove our old solution, because it used methods marked as "deprecated" and that should be removed in future Android versions. So we now use official recommended solution, but so much unexpected problems with it ... ::)
Anyway, yes, saving of poins from Geotagged media overlay is currently disabled. I hope this is not a big problem for now. We need to improve whole system of attachments. Then, this feature may be re-added back.

after installing 4.31.2 the App freeze at startup for some minutes before continuing.
I rebooted my phone already, but the App still frezes with a white screen saying "Lade".
After a while I forced the App to quit. Now it behaves as always.
PS: In The meantime I figured out, just to quit the App when it stuck at Startup. After a restart, the app starts really quick. But after ending and restarting it again, it freezes again. It is repeatable like a flip-flop.
Bug? LM is set to EN, but theme options are now displayed in DE, which is Androids language setting.
@Menion, sorry to ask this again, but I think it got lost in thread for last version: Do you think it makes sense and is possible to change the sizes of highlighted and not highlighted LoPoints separately? I find the highlighted much too big in comparison, but can only make them smaller for the price of making the non-highlighted minuscule.
And a similar problem:
In the Expert Settings, you can change the text sizes for "Dynamic Elevation", "Cursor to GPS", "Time Circles", and "Distance Circles" - but not for the "Auxiliary lines". I use that for measuring distances with two-finger-tap, but the number is so small that's it's barely readable, especially on the road and depending on map background.

I second those requests. Now that the track gallery is gone, I went back to geotagged photos, wanted to display my pictures from the day. First problem: Folder not listed -> no way to trigger update of list for new pictures. Then, as Tapio said, at least add (Un)Select All, and either nested hierarchy or text search. My list of folder is also far too long to use here.

@Andrew Heard "Trojan" ... hmm, as I see, this "Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml" is often false positive. Not sure what I may do with it. Our code is for sure clean. If there may be a Trojan in any 3rd party library ... :o ... it may of course, but I believe we do not use any unverified libraries.

@menion, no problems, it was just an observation to share with any users downloading via Windows
I eventually downloaded direct to device. I then copied back to Windows PC. PC didn't detect any security issue. There was a virus signature update yesterday - "Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.435.767.0)". Similarly, there was no issue with the latest download to Windows for MapGooglePlay_4.31.3 + Auto_1194_release.apk.

I think opinions will differ on how much bigger, I'm sure. For me, the fact that the icon is given a bright blue bubble is already highlighting enough. Of course, keeping the icon itself in default size makes the whole thing automatically bigger, but to me, this is just way out of proportion.
But just so we're talking about the same thing, I attached a screenshot. I think at least the padding around the icon and the border of the bubble should be thinner. Or, alternatively, separate size factors ;)
One more question: Why not keep the base color of the icon, and instead render everything with fixed light-blue? I mean, the un-highlighted icons all have colors based on categories, would make sense to use those for the hightlighted as well, no?

The setting "Unlock the screen" is not persistent across program restarts. It always resets itself to off.

Did something change with the way Locus handles language settings in 4.31.3? After I installed that (from Google Play), Locus suddenly started up in German. I checked the settings immediately, but Locus was set to "System default" and my system was definitely set to "English (UK)". Don't even know why Locus would choose German, I'm living in German-speaking country but have everything set to English - only the mobile provider might be identifiable as German.
But it gets worse: So I set Locus manually to "English (UK)", which worked, but now my times are still shown with "AM/PM", although I definitely also have "24h clock" set in my system settings (am/pm is the work of the devil ;)). Unfortunately, that's something I can't explicitly override in Locus under "Language & Units".
Any idea?

Went for a ride on Friday and Locus did fine (beside of the broken guidance). Got the update on saturday evening, went for a groupride on saturday, was the group navigator. Started Locus with navigation mode and had to slow down on each possible junction to unlock the screen. I was yelled a couple of times and the group was not happy with me. Fun has gone. No, when I'm on the bike I don't want to fiddling in any kind of app.
Tried to find "lockscreen" ("Sperrbildschirm") in settings by find function: no matching results and after 15s display went off and all results lost. dangit. The find function in settings is slow as hell.

Then just wait two weeks for new updates and check the forum or help desk to see if there are any problems.
Thats a smart strategy.
There are some bugs existing in Locus since a couple of years, i.e. doubled points displayed, sporadic crashing route planer, the whole presest system, broken guidance....
How long should I wait for updates?
Disable automatic updates is a mistrust against the developer. If I do that I shoud better deinstall the app or either never get updates.

all I can say is sorry. This was an unfortunate side-effect of the change in languages. More and more often, because of the app's complexity, we have some unwanted changes in different parts of the app. I'm getting another push during the last months, that we need to test every change more properly.
The test version tomorrow will hopefully fix this.

My opinion is still, that highlighted icons should not be reduced in scale. Anyway, I've just openeda topic to "icons v2" in our team chat, with reduced padding etc, as you suggested.
Beta version 4.31.3.3 just uploaded.
😬 Please use on your own risk. It fixes a few issues reported since stable 4.31.3, but there are also a lot of changes in background libraries that are not yet perfectly tested, yet. So careful and rather not risk it if you plan some serious outdoor activities! Thanks for understanding, and enjoy your weekend!

I tried creating a route that took into account the shortcomings described. And it didn't work; everything worked perfectly.
But two days ago, I created a route in the planner several times, and each time there were shortcomings.
This got me thinking. But this morning, I remembered that I had automatic route recalculation enabled, and while driving, the route automatically recalculated. I repeated the steps for creating a route in the planner, then enabled route guidance. After that, I performed a manual recalculation. All navigation commands disappeared.
And one more thing. Now the navigation says "Straight ahead" at every intersection. This didn't happen before. It's incredibly annoying. It seems obvious to me that you should go straight unless you're told to turn.
@Andrew & Menion: if I understand the article correctly, the adb stuff will be on the developer side. Asamm will register for sure, so APK sideloading Locus should work as today.

App language messed up. I set to EN, the dialog still highlights german (the device language). App is in english, theme options in german.
I'm unable to simulate it. Which "dialog" and what theme are you using?

I tested the new version on two phones in GPS emulation mode.
1. "Straight ahead" commands are still generated at every small intersection. This is bad.

"Straight ahead" - not sure if this is a new problem. I believe, at least our internal profiles for LoRouter, have always worked like this. In case you are riding on lower priority road over higher priority road, app report this command. And this is your case.

Straight ahead is important information. When I come to an intersection and Locus doesn't say anything, there are two possibilities. 1. I go straight ahead. 2. I turn left or right and the announcement wasn't generated. To be on the safe side, I have to turn on the screen and look. If the announcement says straight ahead, then I'm sure I'm on the right track.
After Menion explained the priorities, the logic behind using the "straight ahead" navigation command became clear to me. I hadn't known this before, which was why I'd been so clumsy when planning a route. :-)
Fine. I also believe they are very useful, but may be a little obtrusive.
It is almost impossible to say which "straight" commands keep and which not, so we are on the safe side > rather all, than be unsure during the ride.
Excuse in advance this little off topic, but, linked to navigations instructions (for example "Straight", "turn right", etc...), is there a way to customize them, please?
For exemple in French, my own language, there is some instructions which a super long "tournez légèrement à droite".
I would like to know if I can change each message type, by a personalised one.

I don't have any file for my french language in this folder, just EN ones, and Locus is still able to change instructions per language in the route instructions.
But I may clarify : i need/want to change the gpx export instruction waypoint names <wpt> ;)
See two trials, one made with my phone in english (UK) and wp name are in english, like on Locus route preview, and one in french (FR), same, like in Locus.

- App language not saved, always defaults to system language at start.
- select track > Re-route > profile with 'Include navigation commands' and eg. 6 shaping Points > save as new track. Select New track > Tools > internary. Locus tells 'track includes no waypoints', which could be at least the used shaping points, and no navigation commands are given. I have to use 'Make a copy' and enable 'Add navigation commands' to finally achieve navigation commands.
- attention: ditto, Re-route. Then using the save button (icon next to burger-menu) a dialog opens to overwrite the current track. This might be the original one used for Re-route. Quite dangerous. IMHO a Re-route-track should be handled as new track, derived from the original track, and save should be the same like 'save as new'
In the latest beta version theme defined icons don't get drawn on map, if you activate map rotation. If map rotation is off, they get drawn again. Doesn't matter if the icons are png or svg. This doesn't affect LoPoints. They are shown with and without map rotation activated.
The automatic notification to update LoMaps works well these days, but I don't recall *ever* being notified for an update of the associated routing data?

- recorded track. I found the issue. I choosed Re-route, planner opens and the correct profile was preselected. I checked, preselection was fine, nothing to do. As there is no re-calculate all any more in burger-style-menu, I thought job done, save as new track.
But a closer look tells you, all track-parts are with pencil-symbol, not bike-symbol, and probably not recalculated at all. You have to actively trigger recalculation, which can easily done by selecting the already selected profile. Dont trust your eyes or logic. Honestly that's easy to miss.
- why do you want to overwrite a recorded track with an artificial one? Re-route means re-use to me, but not re-write. I guess in 90% of use-cases it will be meant to be used as starting-point without the intention to get loose of recorded data. Maybe you have same start and end and want to have a training-, sightseeing- or explorer-variation or you want to drive patially similar with extensions or whatever. From my point of view.. Question is, if everyone assumes at dialog 'Save track' means overwriting your once recorded track.

ah, understand, thanks for the description. The main problem here is the "Re-route of recorded track". The most common is the re-routing of the previously planned route. In this case, the app restores the previous state, recalculation is not needed and overwrite of the route is more expected, than in the case of re-routing of the recorded track.
A different behaviour based on the recorded/planned route will be more confusing than now. So I do not have simply solution in my hands for now.

Already tested and voice navigation instructions are correctly modified according to tts file, but not the gpx point names.
I have been answered on the helpdesk that gpx instructions names are translated with the crowdin project. Thus I tried "modding" the values-fr and it is working. But not sustainable 😭.
Hmm, you are right. Three years ago, I created this system, which always picks internally translated values and ignores values from defined TTS files. Why? :-X
Check the next app version and be sure, that your TTS file is in version 5+.

Important info:
It has been 14 days since our previous Beta. In this new version, there are two important changes that took us almost 3 months of work:
1. New design system for screens that allows control of drawing below the top status bar, bottom navigation bar and also better handles the cutout (camery in the display). It should have zero impact on stability, but some UI glitches (like buttons below the navigation bar), may appear.
Why did we do this? It is a new requirement for apps since this autumn, so we had to. But it also looks better if done properly.
2. Updated native libraries for SQLite, Spatialite (used for offline search and LoPoints) and big "Proj" library used for map transformations. The previous libraries were 10 years old. This change has a major effect on stability. I believe I tested everything properly, but version 4.31.3.7 remains on Google Drive for easy downgrade in case of any problem.
Why did we do this? I wanted to do this for years. Now we are also forced because of the requirements for Android 16.
We spend the whole week with testing, so we believe, there should not be any critical issues. Anyway, rather download both APK files in case of any problem. Thanks for the help with testing!

Still the language issue.
1. I set LM to english in settings, app language.
2. UI and Theme options are now english.
3. Restart Locus
4. UI is still english, theme options now in german
5. A look into "app settings" - German is now highlighted.

Unfortunately I find no way to have LM draw the upper status bar on the very top. As per Android setting, I can make LM not use the notch area at all, or it is used by the map area, but status bar has an offset and is vertically below the notch area 😭 Expert settings, Fullscreen is on.
I didn't mind the notch reaching into the status bar.
Language problem > hmmm ... what to do with it.
Full-screen setting > I'll discuss this with my colleague, but this setting will probably be removed. It is a hack that no longer works correctly.
OK, without fullscreen mode, seeing the Android status bar on top all the time maybe isn't too bad for me.
Notifications in LM. I'm often collecting many. Then when I want to delete all, I have to scroll all the way down which is kind of stupid. Can't you put a Delete All button/whatever on top?

Well, for me (on Galaxy S24+ and Tab S9), Track Editor is completely broken: All important buttons (Zoom, Point Forward/Backward, Menu) are hidden under my navigation bar. This sounds very much related to that change. What's weirder is that also Undo/Redo buttons (top left) don't appear when e.g. moving a point.
I made the mistake of updating while I still had several holiday tracks to clean up, so now I'm stuck :(

Another recent issue with unwanted full screen - I don't have expert setting full screen, but when I display a recorded track chart, the screen becomes full screen but I can't tap the LM bottom buttons like chart settings because it is overlapping with standard Android 16 back, home and task buttons as attached screen capture

Same like Tapio, though I have the top panel-visibility mostly set to 'auto-hide' to have the fullscreen-experience. I could also live with that. But it lacks beauty.

'Hack' might be a strong word. There a quite a lot of apps out there with fullscreen-modes and touch-overlays, probably technicallywise it's more a matter of stack-concept, parameters and drawing, guess so.

I updated to the latest test version (Honor 20 phone, Android 9). The app keeps crashing when trying to perform various functions. The restore error from backup persists. I saved the Locus and Logcat logs.
MapGooglePlay_4.31.3.10_1195_beta (although probably not version specific) - tap visible track > tap bottom "I" (info) > tap+hold "<" or ">" to continually move through trackpoints > crash - see screen cap. There was nothing else unusual I was doing at the time; simply checking timestamps of a recorded track. I was not visualizing any large # points or tracks despite what the Solution suggested.
Last Locus beta version is constantly crashing when trying to add a new Geocaching waypoint by projection.
Furthermore the + button ist partially hidden by navigation bar if there are already waypoints inside a listing.
Issue with online maps switching appeared in 4.31.3.6 (and still exists in .10). In .5 - everythong was ok.
1) When switching from one online map to another via Quick Map Switch, the new map doesn't become the first one in the Quick Map Switch list.
2) After switching, tiles on the screen don't redraw to new map. New tiles appear only if you move the map or change zoom.
3) When trying to switch the last two online maps by long-pressing Map-screen content, something strange also occurs (likely a consequence of point 1).
I'd also like to remind you that the "navigate from a selected point" feature hasn't worked for a long time. I doubt it ever worked at all.
Menion, any ETA on a beta? I would really like to be able to use the Track Editor again ;) Thx!

One more thing:
I already brought this up a while ago (don't find the post), and it's still the case: When leaving the "Insert/edit trackpoint" function, the map jumps back to the initially selected point, which may be quite a ways away from the current position. For me, the natural thing is to edit track points along the route in chronological direction, so the jump back is quite annoying. Menion, when I brought that up before, you answered that this was probably due to some other change - so I'm not sure now whether you tried to fix that (and it didn't work) or forgot about it?
Similarly, while this was a new behaviour, it was always the case that when removing a section, you would sometimes be taken to different position. What happens here, I think, is this: Say you're on point 100 and remove points 50-100. Then Locus repositions you on point 100 again which is the former point 150, far far away. This should be easy to fix, I'd assume.

I am still using a self-made V3 theme with an old V3 LoMap. Of course this is no solution for the long run – I should soon update my theme to V4. Until I manage to do so, I have to stay with the last Locus version. So yes, at the very moment that would be a problem for me, but I understand I can't stay forever with a five year old map :o

Android 10 OS language (german) vs. Locus set language (en here), still a problem resulting in OS UI in english, theme options in german. But I see, you didn't find anything.

There is still an issue with the top panel overlapping with other elements: in my case it is the top guidance or navigation panels overlapping with my dashboard (see screenshot). Before, the dashboards top right corner was *below* the top bar. Now the top right corner of the dashboard always is on the top right corner of the screen resulting in the overlap.

Small issues with point/track info:
1) "hide on title tap" doesn't work with "detailed" (after swipe up) panel. More precisely, this tap does not minimize the panel, but changes the status in which it will appear after swipe down for "normal" view. I think, better solution - "hide on title tap" should work with "detailed" panel too.
2) tap on point/track. Remember map position. Tap "Edit" (pencil icon), then "Cancel". Map position changed.
3) The map position intelligently changes (preserves tapped point in center) when the information panel appears, but ignores panel minimization (tap on title) and do strange little shift when I swipe up for "detailed" view (only with points, not with tracks)
4) when I tap on track, tapped point shifts to center, but in two separate steps: first - horizontally, then vertically.

1) in "Quick map switch" last item ("Show more") still under navigation bar.
2) in "Map items" menu "eye" icon of last item is under "+" button. As I understand, there is whitespace after last item, that must help with this, but this whitespace does not take into account the size of navigation bar.
3) same (as "Map items") problem with "Presets" menu.

Ulrich Kiermayr is absolutely right: my two dashboards is unaligned now. Moreover, I can't fix them: in edit mode the bottom row of my dashboards is under android navigation bar - I can't tap on it :)
By the way, how long has the dashboard grid been missing from editing mode? Editing is much more difficult without it. I'm talking about the red and blue lines separating cells - like the ones in the screenshots in this article: https://www.locusmap.app/hi-tech-bike-computer-from-locus/ . Is this a deliberate change or a bug?

Hello, sorry if I've missed something – I've been continuing to use the old beta 4.30.18 because of the track gallery and other useful features that were unfortunately removed in 4.31.
Now I have a new device (Motorola with Android 15) and the current beta 4.31.3.12 on it, and I've noticed that when adding photos to a LoPoint on the map, the handy list of the nearest geotagged photos is no longer displayed, but instead the inconvenient system file manager, where you have to laboriously search for the desired image. At first, I thought this might be due to Android 15, but it also happens on my very old S7 with the same Locus version. On my S10, however, with Beta 4.30.18, the photo picker with the nearest images appears.
Will this also be included in the current Locus version? Otherwise, I will have to install the old beta 4.30.18 on my new device...

please unterstand, that I'm a user, not a programmer. I do not know, what a App does in the background. The tracks were already deleted before I went one level back in the file system. There I saw the mismatch and maybe 10 seconds afterwards Android showed me the message:

Fair enough, I apologize. It sounded like the delete took a little longer, Android complained a little eagerly and you killed the process immediately, which would be, well, a little quick.
One more edge-to-edge migration bug: waypoints of track screen. Plus button is under navigation bar.
Interesting. Google refuses our updated version on the Google Play and no support currently help us. So the final version will be delayed. It is good news on the second side. Week more for testing :D .
The new "Release candidate" Beta will be published during the next few hours.
Thanks to all for the help with the search for minor UI glitches. We are also still finding some problems, but fortunately, not a major one.

I'm sorry for the problems, but I can hardly do anything about it now. If only problems remain the number of items in the folder, you may simply try to add/remove any content. Values should be recomputed.

Version 4.32.0 uploaded to Google Drive.
This is the version I wanted to publish, but because Google is blocking us, at least it is available for testing (and final fine-tuning).
Version is available under "testing" directory and has already increased versionCode to 1197, so it is not easily possible to downgrade to the previous Beta version. Just for your info.

I just installed 4.32.0 and "played" with it, especially with the files in the folders. After maybe ten minutes I closed the app and restartet it.
The App stuck with a white screen at startup and a status bar saying 100%. I just want to take a screenshot, but Android was faster: it showed a UI Failure and restartet its gui.
The label showing the amount of files in the folder is not visible. Could it be that my database is corrupt?

Just letting you know that the purchased John Thorn maps still don't load. The screen just says loading. The LoMaps work well.

Still there is a bug with dashboard: editor ignores navigation panel height (so, in my example, I can't tap at all on row with "Bottom line" tile :), and on the contrary when dashboard in use it takes into account navigation bar height, but ignores notification bar.

Thanks for lines in editor, but can you make horizontal lines more visible? (can you see it on my screenshots? for example, the one in the center of the screen, just below the cursor?). Maybe red color, like before?
Anyone having issues with OAM maps? I use November Germany North, ZL12+ looks like attached, lomaps Germany North is working well. May as well be my device/file corruption, idk yet.

Yup I knew, thx, not the cause.
It's weird, maybe just a caching issue. Map started working again after I loaded a smaller area OAM map.

Because the problem is right at the start, to get at least some idea about this problem, but "log" created by this method (https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log) will be necessary.

and what happens when you choose the map in the manager? Don't you get the info that the update of the map theme over Locus Store is necessary?

When I go to the map store the USGS John Thorn maps that I have purchased show a green check mark. The maps that are available show the Locoins. There aren't any updates available. The recent updates don't seem to be compatible. I can't tell you the specific version because I can't downgrade to a previous version.

I uninstalled Locus Map. I then installed the Google store version and it was fine. Next I installed 4.32.2.0 auto and the purchased USGS John Thorn maps show only loading.
