Title: Merging GPX tracks in Locus Maps while preserving original segments
Post by: l235 on July 11, 2025, 07:59:08
In Locus Maps, is there a way to merge several short GPX tracks while preserving the original segments—so that when I load the combined GPX, Locus only calculates the routing for the gaps between them?

Ideally, I'd like the original waypoints and shapes of the short tracks to remain untouched, and only the connections between them to be dynamically routed.

Is there a built-in way to do this—or another workaround?

Thanks for any input!

is there really no solution for this?  :-[ or did I explain it weirdly  :)

Merging is quite hidden.  You multiselect tracks in your library, at the bottom you will see a "^" for a tools menu, scroll up, "Merge" is at the very bottom. As for routing, idk.
