Hello
On Android, when I am in Locus and hit the back button to get to the lock screen or "main" screen of Android, Locus will always ask whether I'd like it to minimize or stop it.
That's freaking annoying, as it is one more and to me always useless interaction: I always want to minimize it
How can I get rid of this question?

Expert settings > first setting on the top
(Confirm on exit)

Hmm, where do I find this?

Found it now, with some more help 😊
It's still asking — maybe I need to quit it once for real?
Without that prompt, will it then minimize or stop?
Dunno, but that's not working for me. Is it working for anyone?

Should it behave like this? I have that setting disabled but still get the prompt. Before I tried this in the morning, I wiped the cache and force quit the app.
Hello
@alexs77 by default, the app closes by double-clicking the back button. Give it a try in the moment, no navigation/track recording etc. is running. Just keep "Confirm on exit" preferences disabled (default).
By this, the app closes completely. It really stops the whole Locus Map process and terminates all inner services.
What happens to you is a visible confirmation dialog that informs about the fact, something is running and the app does not want to terminate this service (in your case "Navigation") without the confirmation.
Usually, there is a "home" button in the bottom system navigation panel. In your case, it is probably not visible because of the active lock screen.

Hello @Menion
Thanks for your explanation. Can you confirm, that there is no way to get rid of this annoying popup and have Locus just always minimize? I never want it to stop. Especially not, when I'm using it for navigation.
That's also why there's no home button visible — app was running and phone locked. That suspicion of yours was correct.
I'm not aware of it.
You have to tap "Minimize" on the popup. What about disabling settings > Controlling > Display > Unlock the screen option. If you use some kind of smart lock, the device may be unlocked with this option disabled and you should see that "Home" button.
