Title: Tracks on map
Post by: mike_b on May 10, 2025, 14:18:20
Hi,

I downloaded a Locus map of my area. When looking at the hiking trails on the map there appear to be tracks already on the map. Do the red lines indicate another person's tracks? I have never been to this area to create my own track. How do I remove the red lines along the hiking trails?

The coloured lines are official hiking trails and cycling routes.
You can hide or display them in the themes menue.

I would also like to disable these "official hiking trails" as the OP, but I can't find the "themes menu". Can you please clarify where this menu is in the android app?

Another issue is that these official hiking trails are also shown on the online (web) route planner when LoMaps are used. Is there any way to disable them there?

1.
-click down left on map content button
- click on icon right of the used LoMap > Theme row opens > click on button right in this row > deselect all options

2. this is for now not possible

I use the following for track planning

Thanks, I do see themes in my offline maps, but not in the online LoMaps which have the pre-loaded tracks I want to remove.

Anyway, I'll just use offline maps (which are great) and avoid using Locus for track planning.
