Title: Scrollable Elveation Profile
Post by: FlyingDman on April 24, 2025, 10:00:19
Hello,

I just started using Locus map this week after trying out a lot of other applications which didnt satisfy my needs completely. Locus seems to have all the feautures and possibilities which I want! So Thank you for making this wonderful map tool!

One thing I miss or didnt find a way to activate is the possibility to scroll or drag the marker on the Elevation Profile. Every other map I used could do this and I use it quite often, it makes life so much easier instead of tapping and is way more controllable and accurate.

What I mean is to drag the marker along the elevation Profile in a smooth motion and the point follows on the track like it does now with tapping.

Did I miss a setting or would it be possible to implement?

Edit: I use Locus map 4

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I miss this too, but wasn't still able to implement it. So sorry, this does not exist in the LM app. It partially worked some time ago, but because horizontal scroll collided with the vertical scroll of the bottom panel, it was disabled.

Hi, I'm also new to Locus Map and was wondering the same thing as FlyingDman.

When you see the quality of Locus Map, it's a real problem not to have this function, when it exists in ALL the other apps.

Ok I understand. Thanks for your answer. In the last 3 days I spent alot of time to get all my settings right,  play around and create dashboards. There are ao much possibilities!

One last question for the time being. Is it possible to change the name of the parameter titles in dashboard? I use the "averge moving speed (moving)" parameter but the name is so long that it doesnt fit in my tile and looks a bit ugly. Its just a esthetical problem not a technichal one, so its not world if theres no setting for that...
