Hi. Are there any plans to connect Locus Maps with Google's "Health Connect" service? On my phone, it only offered to connect GoogleFit, Fitbit (now by Google), and Samsung Health.
My current routine is to:
- record my runs/rides/walks in both Locus Maps (preferred mapping tool (hands-down!!))
- source health data from recordings in Samsung Health (from my Galaxy Watch),
- record weight datat from my electronic scales (Fitbit Aria)
I'm very keen to find a way to bridge these all together, so I could see the data from any source, in any app. ie... standardising on Locus Maps more than I currently can.

it is quite a new system so I do not know much about it yet. And, as you may see, not many apps currently support it. I wanted to add support for Google Fit a long time ago, but never did it. I hope I'll find a time this year to check what Google Health offers and how hard it is to implement it. But will rather not promise ...
Thanks Menion. I like the concept of the Health Connect system, since it seems to want to be a centralised bridge between various health apps (and their data), rather than having to write directly for any particular 3p app.
Perhaps I'm dreaming on this, but it would be useful if one could record an activity in one app (or multiple, for multiple sources), and then see the same activity & data in any of one's other connected apps.
Yes, I think about it identically. Option to record with Locus Map and share over "Health Connect" to the whole system (connected apps) and opposite ... dream :). Hope it comes true and won't be technically too big pain ...

All my apps (exercise activity, sleeping, blood pressure and heart rate, Home Assistant etc) that used to connect with Google Fit have moved on to Google Health Connect, since Fit is closing down soon and Google recommends migrating. I would love to able to get Locus activity data in there too!
