Title: major slowdown and stop of LM
Post by: RafaelV FR on December 17, 2024, 20:24:55
When I try to edit the attached gpx, I have now a major slow down. I can't move the map. Very long delay to update screen. Message to ask to stop LM or to wait.

I think this is since the 4.72.1 version. Before, I could create this normaly.

No problem when I see the gpx.

Problem when I goes into edit mode. Very long display of "Initialization".
Also very long when saving the file.
Everything is on SD card.
More than 8 Go RAM available on phone.
Galaxy A53 5G.

Edit mode : gravel

Hello RafaelV,
thanks for the file for testing. All seems to work as expected on my device. By the "edit" do you mean "Re-route" option in the track menu? What about other routes? Only this one has such problem?

SD card is generally a little risky, so maybe check if the card is in good condition?

Hello Menion,

Thanks for the help.

Yes I mean "Re-route" (in French :"Recalculer l'itinéraire").
No problem with other routes, but nothing with more than 50 km, with few waypoints.
I move the main directory from SD card to the memory device. No improvement.

I delete the temporary datas. No improvement.

Attached the screen-copies when selecting Re-route of a route.
Initialization spend a lot more that 10 minutes.
I don't know, but may be the full route seems to be re-routed.

I re-do a new route with the same path, and it works normally. No problem like before.

Thanks for the info. I'm unfortunately now sure, why the previous problem happened, sorry.
