Title: pois import from google earth, no individual icons
Post by: Achim_Roi on October 09, 2024, 16:09:19
Dear friends,

I use locus with the Premium Gold package.

I have recently had the following problem:

i create POIs with the help of Google Earth on my laptop (Windoes 10) in different categories (e.g. café, restaurant, shop A, shop B etc.), each category is assigned an icon.

The individual categories are stored in Google Earth under 'My Places'.

I save 'my places' as a *.kml (or *.kmz) file, copy it to my smartphone and import it into Locus. Previously, the individual icons were then visible on the Locus map.

Recently, I no longer see these individual icons, but all POIS have the same icon, namely the one that I have assigned to the locus 'My_POIs' directory.

This has worked well for years, but no longer. Where did I change something, is this a problem when saving the POIS on the laptop with Google Earth or can I adjust something in locus to see the individual icons of the individual categories again?

Thank you very much for your help

Hello,
sorry for the trouble.

I've just published a new version 4.26.2 with some fixes, so give it a try, please. It may take up to two days till the version will be available on Google Play.

It is possible to download and install the APK file manually from our Google Drive (link in my signature).
