Hi,
I did something stupid. I was out of space on my phone, so I temporarily removed the Locus classic 4 app from my phone yesterday. Then I realized that day before yesterday I still recorded and saved a track (but not exported it) that I really need. Is there any way I could still get it back? Should I download the app again and install it or will that by definition overwrite anything that would still be left?
I'm on a Galaxy J5 with android 9.
Thank you!
Search for the database for tracks on your storage. If you find it, save it for use with the new install. If you don't find it, only a backup may help you. 3rd option is a sync.
On my end, here is the database:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/menion.android.locus/files/Locus/data/database/tracks.db
Backups are here:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/menion.android.locus/files/Locus/backup/
May differ for you.
If your (iliketrains) database is in Tapio's location, you are doomed, most probably.
As you have Android 9 and maybe it was an old install, you might be lucky to find the Locus root on the uppermost level of your storage and then "inherit" that after re-install.
I was very lucky indeed and it worked! Thank you!!
