I think mapy.cz use great theme maps. Their look is clean, easy to understand and just neat. Is there any theme based on the look of mapy.cz?
Unfortunately locus does not allow them as online provider so I thought about giving such look for vector maps?
To be clear I mean a "touristic" theme.
The GPXSee Mapsforge/OpenAndroMaps render-theme (https://www.openandromaps.org/en/oam-forums/topic/gpxsee-theme-2) uses a very similar cartographic style to Mapy.cz. The render-theme is a standard Mapsforge rendertheme so you should be able to use it in Locus but as GPXSee uses a different render engine than Mapsforge(Locus), you may have to adjust it a litle bit for Locus.

Can you provide a specific link inside your github-project, where exactly does the xml theme that needs to be adapted to mapsforge-like programs contain? (Locus, Orux, Cruiser, etc)

Thank you. Your theme has been adapted for Locus.
Changed:
- paths have been redesigned for graphics
- in the header added base-stroke-width="1.4"
- fixed an error with missing "arrow.svg"
- changed signatures of pathText k="ele" for e="way" k="contour_ext"

You can try this theme. It is named GPXSee
What has changed is indicated above. Otherwise, this rendertheme is "AS IS".
Hi,
May I ask, how it would be possible to show hiking paths, signs and so on at this theme?
And, can it be used for OAM and Locus Maps?
When I try it, it's impossible to see,e.g., the color of the waymarkings.
I'm not able to edit this in an usable manner...
I'm om Locus Map Pro (the "old" one).
