Title: bug report: waypoints shown persistently after editing a route
Post by: skaphod on August 09, 2024, 19:23:16
hey there, i hope this is the right place to report a bug. at least i think it is one.

after creating and editing a route a few times in locus waypoints are shown consistently on the map, sometimes even where the route was before editing it.

could this please get fixed? to get rid of the waypoints they must be deleted separately or the route must be created from the scratch.

the problem exists with Locus 4.24.3 and earlier versions on Samsung Galaxy S10 and S22. can i submit a screenshot here?

tell me if you need any further information.

Hello,
please try the latest app version 4.25+ and let me know if the problem persists, thanks.

If so (hope not), I need a precise step-by-step description, of how to simulate the mentioned problem.

Hi, thanks for the quick response. i just updated to 4.25.1 via play store and the problem seems to be still there.

1. create a route with the route planner with rather many shaping points (30+)
2. re-route, move and/or add some of the shaping points and overwrite
3. repeat step 2 for 2-3 times

now some or all of the navigation waypoints (straight/turn left/turn right) in the edited segment are shown on the map and only disappear by deleting separately or hiding the route.
