when i try to open a gpx track sent to my android device (this may either be a self generated track or a track downloaded from outdooractive), this does not work very reliable.
when it has been sent to my android device using whatsapp, and i click on the gpx file in the chat and open it with locus 3, this works fine. but when i open it with locus 4 i sometimes get the import dialog of locus, but sometimes it just opens locus 4 but the track does not import. the chance that it imports is far below 50%.
when a do the same using telegram instead of whatsapp, this also works fine with locus 3, but with locus 4, i never succeeded in importing the track. it just opens locus 4 but i never get the import dialog.
Hello bongo,
my tests from Signal and WhatsApp showed no problems. Does this happen also if the app is on the background but running?
for me, with whatsapp it worked more reliable when locus was closed before, with locus 4 running in the background, it was less successful.
with telegram, there was no difference. it did not work neither with locus 4 running or not.
but locus 3 works always without issues.
same, locus 4 witht the same Problem.
I can confirm it is sometimes weird. I see the opposite case at times. I just start LM4, but it again triggers the gpx import which has already happened before.
But happens like 10%, not a real problem. I always trigger the import via clicking the gpx in a file manager (TC).
