Title: Amazfit / Zepp Sensors
Post by: holrak on July 28, 2024, 11:16:40
Hello,
I'm a loyal user of Locusmap since many years and absolutely love this app!
Recently I got an Amazfit Balance and am trying to use it's sensors in Locus: GPS, Heartbeat, etc...

Locus recognise the Bluetooth device, but any time I try to connect say it "Can't connect to device".

Any solution for this? It will be really helpful to have this data's from the watch.

Thank you

Hello,
none in our team has these watches, but from what I know, Amazfit devices can't be used as external devices for any data. Anyway maybe I'm wrong and any method already exists and I just do not know about it.

That's a pity. There's something I could help with to make this works?
Any logs or information I could share with you?

Thanks

You may convince Amazfit to publish internal data (GPS, HR, etc) over some Bluetooth channel or probably wait for any clever person to hack their firmware :). Anyway, both solutions are far beyond my skills, sorry.
