I am a new user with latest pro version and my car profile routes the long way around to stay on pavement.
I see posts from years ago which talk about upgraded car profile that routes on unpaved roads.
How can I get the better car profile,
I had to use the bicycle profile to get it to route short route that is unpaved, but then travel time is wrong for driving.
Also is there an off road vehicle profile or mountain bike prifile??

with the Locus Classic, you have to use an external BRouter application (https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_navigate_offline#brouter) (as you probably do already), so it is a little more complicated.
Are you familiar with the https://brouter.de/brouter-web web? Here you may check various routing profiles and pick the one that fits your needs. After that, placing the profile into "/Locus/router/profiles2" directory may give Locus Classic access to it.
I'm not going into details here. Feel free to ask if something isn't clear.
