Hello everyone. I'm having trouble attaching .pdf files to WPs and exporting them. Locus Map 3.70.5 in a Xiaomi Poco X3.
I am able to attach the pdfs to the WP, with a folder in the Locus directory for the .pdfs, when it comes to exporting them the .KMZ file does not contain the attached pdfs. It does the same with the export as .kmz or share the point options.
how could i solve this problem? I need the WP to contain the PDFs, in many cases they are archaeological reports of the place. And once used, you can have the possibility of exporting them as .kmz and opening them with Google Earth, for example.

I really appreciate being able to attach .pdf files to the waypoints and being able to export them to Google Earth or similar. Without this function when attaching files I am left with many incomplete points in my work.

A proprietary kmz extension allows Locus to transfer files.
I do suspect this is not usable for Google Earth imports.
Anyway some Locus users are probably more experienced using kmz.
Or the Locus developer may be able to inform you better.
Next is still not an official format but allows file transfers.
File transfers by gpx/gpz, on the other hand, is even quite easy.
Locus imports these gpz files but does not (yet) generate them.
The attached gpz import in Locus shows photos and doc and pdf.
Open the attachments by selecting the appropriate associated apps.
This gpz file construction was produced by a manual edit.
Please note the xml rules for the gpx/gpz file composition.

@turbo19 have you checked "Incl. description & attachments" in the export dialog?

i´ve just tested
take or select photo work, photo is displayed and available in POI as well as in exported .kmz
Identical photo added via "select other files" is only visible ".JPG" in POI
If i see only the file extention .jpg or .png inside the POI, these files are not included in the exported .kmz although they can be opened inside Locus POI

you are both correct. There seems to be some inconsistency when exporting attachments. I've improved it, so give a try to the next (Beta) version. Thanks a lot!
