Title: Blue Icon after finishing of the navigation
Post by: pix on January 29, 2024, 20:15:42
Hello Locus Team,

I use Locus Map Classic V.3.70.4.

When I access a POI via navigation or guide on function of Locus a blue icon is set as destination point. After finishing of the navigation or guide on the blue icon is still displayed although the navigation has been finished.

Watch the explanation (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1S32Qw6q52J5Riegq9BbRUYc5gYdn9PHa/view)

Question:
why doesn't disappear the blue icon with finishing of the navigation automatically from screen?

Yes, via Functions -> Map Items -> Clear map screen I can remove the icon manually but that is not the preferred way.

Thanks for your assistance

Hello pix,
this is interesting. I'm trying it and can't simulate this issue. Does it happen with all points or just LoPoints? It also looks, like you are using points & maps from OpenAndroMaps right? Not sure if this is the source of the problem.

Test with LM4
Card: OAM
LoPoi: no symbol
OAM POI: no symbol

Maybe someone else can try it with LM3

Solution found? yes and no
No question which kind of map you use - OAM or LoMaps, doesn't matter

Whether you get a blue icon on your screen is depending on how you access to "navigate to" or "guide on".
If you use the popup ">" and push "guide on" --> no blue icon appears.
But if you use the navigation button at the bottom of your screen you will see a blue icon for "navigate to" and "guide on"

Hello,
thanks for the precise video and the description. I helped. Issue found and will be fixed in the next Locus Classic version (but sorry, it may take some time ...).
