Title: NASA WMS?
Post by: 11elevenths on January 22, 2024, 17:35:32
This loads but can't display anything in North America?
https://neo.gsfc.nasa.gov/wms/wms
Is the projection wrong?   Is this already in the WMS library somewhere?

Also...I believe I can edit WMS with names.  if I delete what I don't use, Is there a way to export the full list as a back up and reimport?

Is there a Locus working repository of more wms besides the libraries within the software?

Hi,
my first try - the "Bathymetry map" and quite nice, and working.

Whoa,"Land surface Temperature", is nice. Anyway seems that the server has a problem in the case, more than one layer is seleted. So suggest checking just one layer at a time and you will see.

thanks...many of them don't work for some reason???  I was always able to get active fires but that is gone???

We always have fires running here...loads of them...using "My Radar" app there is probably over 100 now.

can you get any fires???

This is weird.

Here is a sample link to one map tile and the result is "403 - forbidden". So it usually means that access to this map requires name/password. But as I read, all data here should be freely accessible.

Have you tried this map in any other WMS app? I'm trying in the QGIS and I'm also not successful with this layer  ???
