After changing my phone from a Samsung Galaxy running Android 13 to a Google Pixel and Android 14 the contacts add-on is listed not compatible in Google Play. Any chance for an add-on update?

it is possible. This add-on was updated many many years ago and it won't most probably be updated, sorry. It was created because it was risky for many users to have permission to access contacts directly in the app. Anyway, with the introduction of "runtime permissions" (the app asks for permission to access any data), it makes more sense to include this add-on directly into the Locus Map app ...
