Title: OAM and LoMaps - how to distinguish?
Post by: settler on July 28, 2023, 14:19:14
Hello,
is there a way to distinguish LoMaps from OAM maps in my theme?
maybe there is a special tag for the card manufacturer?

OAM doesn't support "location=overhead|overground" tags, and LoMaps doesn't support "location=underground" tags for "man_made=pipeline", and I don't understand how I can make everything draw correctly.

There is no straightforward way to distinguish Lomaps from OAM maps. In many cases you can write a test that works for both maps, though I'm not sure it will work in this case. If I understand you correctly, then if location="~", Lomaps and OAM maps understand it differently. Is that right?

yes, in LoMaps the pipeline is always drawn in this case. but I would like not to draw a pipe underground.

Well, could I add "location=underground" to LoMaps for the next release if that helps?
