Title: Points from KML file with network link are not importable
Post by: farshid on February 24, 2023, 12:16:48
Hi,

When I import a kml file containing a network link in "Points Manager", I get the following message:

QuoteCan't find any importable points or tracks in the file(s).
Do you want to load and display content on map?

If I select "yes" the points or tracks are displayed but nothing is imported. Is there a way to import the points from a network link?

Hello,
no, it is not possible. "KML networking link" is an amazing feature that allows dealing with dynamically changing content. Locus Map is unable to directly download and import current content on the server. Such a feature is not implemented, sorry.

The solution is to extract link(s) from the KML file and download & import manually.
