Title: Possible to download maps?
Post by: chr1 on July 04, 2011, 11:54:38
Firstly apologies if this has been covered elsewhere...

Heading off in a few days for a hastily aranged holiday and hoping to download maps to my sd card. Haven't used Locus for about 6 month now but am unable to get Google maps to load over wi-fi. Have looked thru various posts and ascertained there are some recent changes re downloading tiles but do not have too much time on my hands so wondering if someone could point me in the direction of post/s explaining how to now download maps for offline use (if it is still possible at all?). Presumably a lot of the Manual/FAQ info is now irrelevant... Many thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I have tried selecting various online maps but all I get is a grid, scale, compass but no map actually loads. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or wether some map data is no longer avaiable to Locus. Can anyone tell me what online map data is available to download? I am using Locus Pro 1.8.11    Thanks.
