Title: Locus Addon Satellite images
Post by: Ilekso on December 08, 2015, 11:15:50
I recently moved Locus from internal to external sd card to be able to use more offline maps.

Everything is working just fine, except for the addon Satellite images. It downloads the image fine (I see the Downloading dialog), however when it tries to save the image it shows the error:

Unable to create directory for satellite images!

I removed the addon and re-installed it, without success.

Can I create the directory myself using a file manager? If so: what is the correct path?

Thnx!

Which means: if you have Android 4.4, then Locus (like any other App) cannot write to arbitrary location on SD. Only if you put its data into /Android/data/.... (which will be deleted in case of deinstall).
I keep Locus on internal SD, i.e. all dynamic data, and online map download work nicely. All my vector maps are on external SD, and I tell Locus where they are (once).

My android version is 5.0.2

Everything else is working fine, only the add-on for downloading google satellite images with geocaches doesn't work.
