Title: Custom map from camera image
Post by: nvardi on December 05, 2013, 22:53:12
Can a JPG image of a paper map, from the phone's camera, be imported, geo-referenced, and used as a custom map within the Locus app - or is it necessary to  run it through an external georeferencing tools? Is there a tutorial on how to do this?
I have done it with desktop and online tools, but now I need to do this in the field, using only the Android phone.

Hi nvardi,
I think this is exactly what you need:
