New to Locus, have scoured the documentation and gone through menus:after doing a Google or wikipedia search, how do iIclear the results off the map?

such objects are visible as temporary objects. Button to hide them may be put into right panel on map screen or when you go to "Data" screen, then hit tab "Items" and in top action bar will be button for removing all temp items. It's little bit "hidden", I know, but if you know about it, it's fast enough :)
