Title: Navigation for a deliveryman with 25 stops .
Post by: Proceed999 on August 01, 2012, 16:04:49
Hey guys,
I found a quite cool job in my semester break, I have to deliver some papers to certain points its about 25 actually, and i have to drive through quite many villages by night so its a little hard to remember all the spots.
Yesterday I recorded the track with all the stops, but I cant navigate it only shows me the distance to the next stop i'd have, I read that this was because I recorded the track like without of road traffic regulations .
So my questions are :
How do I record the track I was driving the right way, so i can actually use the navigation ?
Can i somehow enter an order of destinations, I mean I now know where my stops are on the map, I basically only had to enter them somewhere .

Cheers

Hello,
as I read it, I think that from my point of view should be best
1. add 25 points into some category and show them on map
2. use this function http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manual ... te_measure (http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manual:add_new_route_measure), mainly button no. 5 and create routable way along which Locus may navigation. You have to do this manually between all points on map (simply tap on point on the map and press "+" button while some routing under button 5 is selected)

hmm "nothing happens" ... do you have enabled GPS in Locus and were you moving? You should see in left top corner arrow that display next cross and also some times and distances on top panels
