Hi,
Is it possible to change the icon used on a map to show a poi in locus?
I have worked out how to change the category icon but is there a way to change the poi itself?
To explain further ,i downloaded a gpx file of Uk hills and don't like the icon that shows each one on the maps.Is there a way to change this within locus or can the gpx be changed in some way?
thanks
Hi,
category icons are applied to all points that do not have explicitly defined icon. This can be done (icon definition), when you tap on point, then at bottom tools icon and Edit button. On dialog next to point name, you can define icon
No it's the icon used by the POI that i want to change and not the category icon.

Do i have to somehow change the GPX file or is there a way of changing the icon in locus?
check this
http://www.locusmap.eu/support/manual/h ... terest-poi (http://www.locusmap.eu/support/manual/how-to/points-of-interest-poi)
editing POI - tap on POI and then third button on bottom panel "EDIT"
I am able to change most POI's but the poi's from one file will not change no matter what i do.
I will download them from elsewhere to see if that works.
So it is a problem with my file and not locus it seems.
cheers
there should not be any "problem with icons from file". If points aren't geocaches (which cannot have different icons) that it's for sure problem in Locus. So when you attach here any sample file, I'll check it ...
