Title: soundsetting for track to and from wrong?
Post by: Rob on November 13, 2011, 17:02:21
Hi menion,
I  think the settings "..if jump to next point.."
and ".... if move away from track...."  are reversed.
Today I did a guided tour with setting piep if away from track and got approx all 30sec a piep even when right on track.Tried to went far away from track - no sound.
Changed setting and voila- get sound when moved away.
1. thought: it was the german translation, but it's the same in english.

Or did I misunderstand something?

Regards
Rob

Hi Rob,
it's weird. I'm playing with it right now and seems that it works correctly. Don't you have set too short distance for "if move away from track"? You may play with this even if you're not out in wild. Just disable gps in Locus and start guiding. Your map center will work as when you move ...

You are right, when I simulate movement like you described, it works correctly.
But I was quite sure, in "real movement " it was reversed.
I will check further and let you know.
It will last a few days, since I am busy next days.

Nevertheless I love your app.....

Hi menion, with 1.14.3.1. soundproblem is fixed. Works like a charm !
Thanks much.
Quest: is it correct, that I cannot have both sounds simultan: higher frequence if closer to POI AND. different sound if moved away from Track ?

well its not a " must ":-)
To get a sign, when a POI is on the way, or when you are about half of your trip, AND be warned if you move wrong would be really fancy.
So if its not that much work I really would appreciate.

Thx Rob
